At Jones Myers LLP, we are strong believers in the success of mediation and Collaborative Family Law - new and highly successful, alternative approaches to resolving issues arising from separation.

He has experience at the highest level in all aspects of divorce and financial disputes and operates both regionally and nationally.
His recognised combination of sensitivity and professionalism are the principles upon which he founded the firm. Peter is quoted in Chambers as having “very sound judgement” and an “easy-going approach.”

Jones Myers LLP has a team devoted to issues relating solely to children. In this difficult, and sometimes traumatic, area of law we can offer practical advice and support in addition to representation throughout court proceedings. This expertise includes residence and contact disputes, child protection issues and adoption. We are one of the few firms which undertake international abduction and contact cases.
We represent not only parents but also Local Authorities, children and children’s guardians involving public funding support if appropriate.
The department is made up of some of the most experienced professionals each bringing their own unique skills to balance the interests of the children and parents.
Kate, as the Head of the Children Department, is highly skilled in cases relating to children including contact and residence disputes. She specialises in child protection law and is a Member of the Child Care Panel with experience representing parents, guardians, Local Authorities and children.
As well as working regionally and nationally, Kate has considerable expertise in international child abduction cases and is a Member of the International Child Abduction and Custody Unit.
Kate has “Higher Court Rights,” something fewer than 2,500 solicitors have in England and Wales, which enables her to offer clients an all-round litigation service.
Clients find her sensitive, caring and approachable and she engenders these principles in all of her team.
Evelyn specialises in issues relating to contact and residence disputes in children cases. A Member of the Child Care Protection Panel, she is experienced in court work representing parents, Local Authorities and guardians at all levels from the Family Proceedings courts to the High Court.
Anthony is one of the youngest solicitors in the area to be appointed to the Child Care Panel and represents parents, guardians, Local Authorities and children. He represents client’s on residence and contact disputes both privately and publicly funded.
Claire works in the Children Department and has gained most of her experience in contact and residence disputes. Recently, she has specialised in International Child Abduction cases and International Contact disputes involving the Hague Convention.
