Jones Myers founder Peter Jones – one of the country’s most sought after family lawyers – is inviting family law firms to be recognised as excellent in their field.

A champion of raising standards, Peter, who chairs the specialist accreditation committee of Resolution which is committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes, is encouraging family lawyers to become an accredited specialist.

Peter, who is also a former national chair of Resolution, says: “The accreditation is a mark of excellence in practice which is recognised by the public, fellow members, current and future employers, the judiciary, the Legal Aid Agency and potential clients.

“It demonstrates that you are a specialist in your field and reassures the public that the lawyer they instruct has excelled in achieving a higher academic and experienced status.”

Details of how to apply can be found within the prospectus and the deadline to return the application form is Monday September 16.
